research required

Tried to felt some of the wool yarn I spun -- not a real success. Knit a square, added some stitched on bits and loose bits, and poured boiling water over it all, rolled with a rolling pin. This isn't the method. The knit part felted a bit, but the rest didn't stick (I guess I thought it would magically adhere), so must look up a method that doesn't require going to the laundromat.
Made a bread bag bag for Sadie's friend Eva. It's mighty cute. Got a bunch of buttons at Sally Ann for 49 cents, so will try some more "button soft basket" things.
Do have 2 Christmas things done (Emily and Peg), leaving a dozen or so more people to make something for.
